After a career in the National Sales arena, I made the transition to residential and commercial real estate because of my passion for developing, building, creating, and designing homes. I have personally bought, sold, renovated, and developed over 1250 homes and home site in the Knoxville area valued over $30 million. This hands-on experience in development, design, and construction is a key part of what I offer to buyers and sellers on a daily basis.

When representing a seller, part of my listing strategy involves preparing the homes for the market with a range of improvements that ultimately results in a higher sales price. Upon request, the Dykeman Concierge Service is available to make immediate improvements that range from slight cosmetic changes to drastic structural changes. Staging your home for sale as well as extensive landscaping is an intricate part of the process.

When representing buyers, my construction and renovation knowledge allows me to target properties where value will be maximized with small and large improvements. This insures my clients that they are making the best investment possible, even in a down market. This guidance also allows clients to customize or “personalize” a home to meet their specific needs and tastes. With the Dykeman Concierge Service buyers get immediate access to my design team which includes a general contractor, interior designer, architect, professional landscaper, and all other subcontractors on my team.

Strong negotiation skills are fundamental to a successful real estate transaction. My philosophy in negotiating is to consistently strive for the best sales price for my client while maintaining amicable, professional relationships with all parties involved. Having earned the respect of other agents in our community has historically given my clients an advantage over competing offers.

Being born and raised in Knoxville provides me with an insider’s knowledge of “niche” neighborhoods within each community which ultimately leads to greater levels of appreciation and resale potential.
